New York We loved this hotel. The rooms and facilities are fantastic and the staff extremely helpful. We are very picky travelers and stay in the best places whenever possible and this hotel qualifies. Unlike other reviewers we did not find the decor overdone. Who wants minimalist in this old historic city? We wanted atmosphere and got it. The staff booked opera, private tours and restaurants for us with ease. No hitches. I would highly recommend this hotel.

cataluya Un hotel con encanto por sus salones, diseño de las habitaciones, servicio, etc.. Ha de mejorar las condiciones de confortabilidad del spá, pero en general muy recomendable.

Los Angeles, CA We just came back from a 4 night vacation at the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa in Prague. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Alchymist. Staff was very professional and friendly. They upgraded us from deluxe room to a suite (Thank you!). Staff provided us with 5 star treatment from the moment we arrived at the airport. Everything about the hotel was perfect. Airport pick up was there waiting for us. Room was very spacious and well decorated. The breakfast was amazing, easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had. The massages were the best we ever had (ask for the two Thai ladies, Pui or Kai) – blissful and relaxing. Hotel is located half way between Prague Castle and Charles Bridge with easy walk to old town. We couldn’t think of even one bad thing about this hotel. This hotel is absolutely world class! Highly recommended.

Birmingham Travelled extensively and have to say the Alchymist is one of the best boutique hotels we have ever stayed in. Picked up at the airport by the concierge service even though we were late. The suite was magnificent and had the flowers and champagne we ordered. Service throughout the weekend superb. The restauarnt fabulous as was the bar where we had late night champagne cocktails. Visited the spa and had a wonderful Balinese massage. Location excellent on the classy side of Prague away from the Old Town but only a 5 minute walk to the Charles Bridge.Go to the Jewish Quarter and the wonderful St Vitius cathedral. Fabulous restuarants for a great romantic weekend - Kampa Park on the river, La Perle a Prague and the Blue Duckling.

Boston We just returned from a 5 day stay at the Alchymist. This is a true gem of a boutique hotel in every respect. The hotel is in a perfect location on a quiet street a few minutes walk from the Charles Bridge. It is in a renovated mansion with spectacular decor. Our junior suite was very large and beautifully decorated with a very large marble bath. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The service was excellent. The wine and cheese hour was a nice touch. Daily breakfast was excellent. Classical music was playing 24/7 in the restaurant and common areas. Business center was free and always available. The health club and spa was small but adequate and was remarkable in its Asian style decor. We chose this hotel over The Four Seasons and there is no doubt we made the right decision!
