Wingate, North Carolina We traveled to Europe this summer, and our stay at the Alchymist was to be the highlight of our trip. The hotel was unique, and charming. I would suggest to the hotel that they run the air conditioning at all times during the summer. Parts of the hotel were hellishly hot. Our Junior Suite was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was huge! The decor was a little too gaudy for our tastes, and the bed was NOT comfortable. Breakfast was included in our package, and we also got a voucher for dinner. The food was very good, and the service in the restaurant and the coffee shop was excellent. The staff of this hotel is a real bonus.
Finally, we visited the un-airconditioned Spa. We were to receive 2 Spa treatments, one of which was unavailable. The receptionist in the Spa was rude and condescending, but the manager offered us an alternate treatment. My husband\'s massage was done by a Thai lady who did a wonderful job. I had a different person, and it was a total waste of my time. The woman who did my massage acted as though she didn\'t want to touch me. She kept putting a towel between her hands and my body. She barely touched my feet, and didn\'t touch my head or face at all. I Kept waiting for her to do an actual massage, but was totally disappointed. I was then told that I could not take a shower in the massage room, and would need to go out into the hall. At this point, I was very upset, and left the room. Upon leaving, I once again had to deal to with the rude receptionist. By the time my husband joined me, I was in tears. IAfter having such a nice experience with the hotel, the Spa was a nightmare! Needless to say, we did not go back for the alternate treatment, and the hotel manager adjusted our bill.
All in all, the Alchymist was a nice hotel in a very good location. If you don\'t go during the summer, it would be even better. However, I would not recommend the Spa to anyone. They are second rate.

Louisville, KY If Prague is a fantastic cake, the Alchymist Hotel and Spa is the icing and candles. This luxurious boutique hotel is comprised of 4 buildings from the 1400 and 1500s that seem to bring you to another place and time. It is situated just below the Prague Castle in the Embassy District. The US Embassy is literally next door. The wonderful staff make you feel as if you are the King and Queen of Praha. A must stay!

Miami Beach We stayed in one of the suites which was huge, very nicely decorated, finally a refreshing change from the
omnipresent minimalist architecture!!!
The lobby is very impressive but the coolest thing is the underground SPA, my wife got a deep tissue massage she is still talking about and I got a full body treatment which was excellent.
Do not miss the Pastry Shop at the entrance, it would tempt anybody to indulge in the huge selection of pastries, the onlu problem is I gained a bit of weight: the food is too tempting... and the restaurant excellent!!
All the staff is very courteous and the Concierge gave us excellent sightseeing tips. Once you are at the Alchymist you do not want to leave the Hotel at all.
I would rate this Hotel as one of the best I have ever been.

Windsor We travelled as a family to Prague for a 5 night stay. We had arranged an airport pick-up through the hotel. From the moment we were picked up we felt very special. The hotel is amazing, extremely spacious, welcoming and so close to everything you would want to see in Prague.
Travelling with two teenage children the free internet connection was a real bonus - they were able to check in with their friends on a daily basis!!
The rooms are very well appointed and extremely comfortable.
Breakfast was extremely good with a wide choice each morning.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The children made use of the pool and my husband had a thai massage, both of which were extremely good.
The wine and cheese tasting is a very nice touch as well.
