Residence Nosticova - Arcimboldo Suite 5*

Pasadena, California

Residence Nosticova is a quaint, kitschy, professionally run hotel.

It is located on a quiet street, right beside a FANTASTIC Italian restaurant, with a super outdoor summer patio (The Alchymist).

The interior is a little themey, but if you\'ve chosen to look here you know that already. The staff is really top notch, in fact the most professional I encountered in Prague; and the location is great. Near, but not too near most of the action in old town.

Two notes:
#1 Not all rooms have air-conditioning.

#2 At 40 years old, I was the youngest person (other than the staff) I saw here.

On our first trip to Prague we decided to not only just have a marvellous time exploring the beautiful Prague, but also stay in a place with comfort, homefeeling and a bit of luxury.
Residence Nosticova was the perfect home for our leisure travel. In a small quiet street, really quiet! a perfect little hideaway in a historic building with only ten suites, we stayed in a standard suite with lots of space and all the facilites we needed to feel as in our own home, with beautiful colours and paintings, antique furnitures and a kitchenette. We had our breakfast in our room every day, because we really loved staying there and wanted to have a long and private breakfast before exploring the city, so I have to say that we didn\'t try the breakfast served in the restaurant. But the bar and the dining in the restaurant was very special, a fantasy of red velvet, zebra stripes, mirror tiles in mosaic, and a great meal with top service. As it’s a residence, there’s just a very small public space, but this is a wonderful romantic and intimate little hideaway with full range of prompt and smiling services! Distance to Charles bridge is 2 min.
We will recommend this charming residence!

We went to Residence Nosticova for a romantic long weekend and that is what we got. Everything was exactly as described on the web site. There were no nasty surprises and we could not have been happier. Stroll to Charles Bridge in 5 minutes, the old town or the Castle in 10. Staff were professional and discrete and very helpful. Even when arranging a tour of the city for us they actually paid the tour rep, in cash, on our behalf.

Alchemist restaurant was very good, if a little pricey, and their sister hotel has a beautiful spa which we used twice. Again that is about 5 minute stroll away. House keeping was excellent and bedroom and bed were lovely and comfortable with easily controlable heating.

I would love to return to Nosticova when I next visit Prague. For longer stays a bigger hotel may be more suitable, just for the larger premesis and perhaps more \'life\' arount the place but for our little get-away it was perfect. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Staying at Residence Nosticova was a magical experience. All members of the staff -- from the reception to the restaurant to the management to housekeeping were excellent! The location was ideal. I would not consider staying anywhere else in Prague! Bravo to the Residence Nosticova

We just got back from our trip to Prague from a beautifull city. We were just amazed by the weather we found during our stay. Nosticova is just great place to stay. Beautifull apartment with great living room all decorated with candles and fresh flowers. Even nicer we thought it would be.

the service: the staff at the hotel is just nice. You cannot expect the services as in big hotels just because this place is different.
But when we asked for some information, it could was always answered or solved in time.

location: location of this property is just great. very quiet street in town close enough to walk in few minutes on Charles Bridge. There is a little café close to the hotel called Cukr Kava Limonada where we used to have our afternoon cake and the coffee.

Breakfast and the Restaurant: breakfast in the hotel was great. Little buffet but great choice (all wishes were fullfiled) Our favourite ones were home made pastries, ham and eggs and croisants puff enough but still crispy.

The restaurant for the evening has a great atmosphere just to fit to romantic couples like us. We had fillet with mushrooms (the presentation from the Head Waiter, comming with fresh mushrooms to show us was just great) mushroom risoto and in the end was suggested heavenly great Chocolate Hot Cake with ice cream that really made our evening...

Overall our trip was nice and everything worked perfect ....
