Hotel Andel's Suites

UK

Awsome hotel, one of the best i would think in Prague. I went there with my boyfriend over NY and it was everything we wanted. Stylish, warm, great breakfast which was included in the price and such a variety of food...but if you dont like that, there is a massive tesco right across the road - offering everything you could need for your travels. Its about a 10 - 15 minute walk into town, but its a lovely walk and you see so many sights, so you would end up walking it anyways even if you were not staying at the Andel - Highly recommended for anyone staying in Prague. Oh and the rooms are lovely...very funky but not over the top.

Fantastic hotel, exceptionally clean, rooms were very luxurious and the bathroom was spotless. The service was exceptional and the breakfast selection was above average. Although located close to a large shopping centre among other faciities we found it a bit far to walk to the old town. However, this was only a minor problem as there is a fantastic bus and tram service just outside the hotel which serves most tourist areas.

London

Staff were friendly and welcoming, Rooms were comfortable and stylish and the food was excellent. The bathroom was amazing!

Not right in the centre of town but only a couple of stops away on the tram or metro so theres no problem at all getting around. Plenty of shops/bars places to eat all next to the hotel.

We were given a free upgrade so def worth asking if they have anything avaliable when you arrive.

Couldnt fault the hotel at all, especially for the price.

Just had 4 days in Prague and stayed at Andels hotel. Hotel is excellent, high quality finishes and designer without being too boutique and up itself! don\'t worry about the fact that it is 1.5km from city centre as the number 14 trams run regularly to Wencelas Square as does the B line metro. Numbers 12 and 20 trams run to Mala Strana for the castle. We bought a 3 day pass whih gives unlimited travel on metro, trams, buses and even the funicular up Petrin hill cost was 220 kc for 3 days = £5. Some good bars and restaurants around the hotel area if you dont want to stray far. Would recommend the staropreman brewery bar on Nadrazni and Pizzeri Kmotra on Jindrichna Plachty. Both are ludicrously cheap but excellent. The beer aesthetes of you will also enjoy the Strahov Monastery brewery which make sits own amber and dark stuff. Again for those of you looking for the authentic Bohemian beer experience it may wbe worth knowing that U Medvicku was closed (maybe just out of season). U Flecku bar was great if you are into the oompah stuff. For the more genteel the cafe Ubecni dum at namesti republiky is a stunning place, all gilt and chandeliers. Service is slightly \'soviet\' which makes it perfect in my book. I would rate Prague (despite the last 18 years of tourist expansion and stag and hen do\'s) as still the most beatiful city in Europe. More accessible and friendly than Budapest.

Stuttgard

I stayed in a twin room in mid-February and have only good things to say about this hotel. We requested a bathtub and were granted a very modern room with bath. Great location right around the corner from the Andel metro station. (That is about 4 stops to the center of the old town. Only 5 min journey and trains came every 5-6 minutes.) We even walked to the hotel from the center a few times - about 20 minutes right along the riverbank.

Also, the hotel is located right across the street from a Tesco grocery store and a cybercafe. Very convenient! The room was clean and modern. The breakfast was fabulous. Fresh fruit, dozens of different kinds of breads and pastries, tons of yogurt and smoothie options, cakes, cereal, meats, eggs, potatoes, cheese, and even miso soup. It was enough to keep us full until dinner. Excellent option.
