Hotel Andel's Suites

Catalonia

It is clear from the reviews that there are people who like Andel’s and others who don’t. I belong to the first group.
The critics say that the Andel’s is too business-oriented. I agree with that: at least two large, well-known companies were having meetings and product presentations while my visit lasted. In my books, that is a good indicator, because I doubt that companies of this calibre would choose a hotel that could not offer good value and comfort.
The Andel’s might not be in the heart of touristy Prague, but a) the neighbourhood was OK, very lively and with plenty of choice in terms of restaurants and shops; and b) the sights were only 10 minutes away by subway of tramway (and I have to admit that I was surprised by the efficiency of public transport in Prague)
I had no problems at all with the hotel’s staff. Truth is that when you arrive at the hotel, you are given a keycard for your room and afterwards you hardly need anything else from them. But anyway both check-in and check-out was efficient and professional. I returned back to the airport with one of the cars offered by the hotel and I can also recommend this service too.

We booked Andels for our first, and certainly not last visit to Prague. The hotel is very business-like but who cares, the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff was first class. The rooms were lovely, in particularly the bathrooms which were superb! Very minimalist and modern. My favourite was the buffet continental breakfast - pain au chocolate, coissants, plus hot food - expanded my waistline but was delicious. My father in law got his wallet stolen on the metro (beware!) but even that didn\'t ruin our holiday one little bit as the rest of our stay was just perfect. Prague itself is cheap but the hotel bar was hugely expensive so my advice is avoid the hotel bar and head out to a bar instead. The Blue Duckling restaurant is the most fabulous restaurant i\'ve ever been too - it\'s a must. Enjoy.

This hotel was brilliant. The staff was extremely helpful - providing maps and highlights of places to visit. They spent a lot of time at check-in giving helpful tips to enjoy the city. The room was large and spacious. Even with a child\'s crib/cot in the room. The bathroom was extremely clean and spacious. Separate tub and shower and toliet room. Very close to tram stops and a massive 24/7 grocery store for any basics that are needed. Highly recommend to all visitors to Prague.

We can\'t say enough about the Andel\'s in Prague. The hotel was fantastic, great rooms, the most comfortable beds in europe!!! Marble
bathrooms, extrodinarily helpful staff with great recommendations for
places to eat. The hotel was stylish, spacious and accomodating. Breakfast was good and included in the price and there is free internet in the lobby. The location couldn\'t be better either, it was
right in the middle of the Andel neighborhood in Prague which is a very new, modern neighborhood with great bars and restaurants. The hotel is directly behind the \"Andels\" stop off the metro which makes getting anywhere in Prague as simple as can be. Other reviews that say Andel\'s is inconvenient since it is out of the city center are simply wrong. It\'s a block from the Metro and the metro will take you anywhere in Prague you want to go. We never set foot in a taxi or a bus for that matter!

We traveled to 6 different cities in Europe on our trip (paris, munich, prague, vienna, venice and rome) and Andel\'s was our favorite
hotel we stayed at. We\'d recommend it to anyone.

We stayed here for two nights for our first wedding anniversary. Didn\'t know what to expect as we\'d never been to Prague before. However, I was really pleased with the hotel and the service we got.

It\'s not in the most picturesque of locations with a massive shopping centre nearby 9although good if you want to get any presents). This is balanced out by the fact it\'s very close to a couple of tram intersections and you can walk to the castle down, more or less, a straight road. The river is also not very far away, probably five minutes walk.

The hotel and rooms have a quirky modern design and feel to them so it makes it stand out from the ordinary. Service was good from the front desk staff. Breakfast was nice and a decent range of items available.
