Oslo, Norway My friend and I stayed at the Seven Days for three nights in late October, and I can honestly say that our choice of hotel turned out to be the jewel in the crown of our otherwise fantastic stay in Prague!
The hotel is located a short walk from Muzeum Metro Station, which makes arrival/departure by foot (carrying your luggage) absolutely bearable. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the piccolo, who gallantly relieved us of our heavy load while we checked in - I must admit, a piccolo certainly adds \'a touch of class\' to a hotel!
The UNESCO-listed building, both interior and exterior, is wonderful and very well kept. Our room was delicately furnished in a traditional, continental style, sufficiently spacious and including all the necessary facilities: TV, hair dryer, telephone, etc. The only thing I would have welcomed: A tea/coffee maker! The bathroom was light and spacious, with plenty of places to put your toilet kit, toothbrush etc. Everything was clean and welcoming.
The breakfast was incredible: Small pancakes, large pancakes, jam, boiled eggs, scrambles eggs, sausages, cereals - I could simply go on! Your choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, juice... And, of course, the dessert buffet needs mention: Various small cakes as the closing chapter of a really solid breakfast :-)
Last, but not least: The staff was friendly and very helpful. We received good answers, advice and help every time we posed a question to the clerk. They will sell you stamps and post your cards for you, direct you to sights and assist you with brochures etc. Their English is good, and we experienced no misunderstandings or linguistic problems.
Seven Days is the hotel you will look forward to return to after a day of sightseeing!

Pittsburgh, PA My daughter and I stayed at the Seven Days earlier this month. On check-in we were upgraded at no extra cost to a suite on the 5th floor which was very nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. The people at the front desk were friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is a short walk to the National Museum at the head of Wenceslas Square and from there on to Old Town, and as my daughter and I are \"walkers\" this posed no problem at all. The Metro is very nearby as well.
As for being in a grubby part of town as one prior reviewer stated, the shop across the street selling \"erotic\" items initially was eyebrow raising, but was tidy - on the outside, didn\'t explore inside! - and didn\'t seem to attract any alarming clientele. The dispersal of shops and \"services\" such as this throughout European towns as opposed to their isolation to certain sectors of American towns is something that initially takes some getting used to, but poses no threat.
Breakfast at the Seven Days was lovely and we were given all assistance in arranging transportation to the airport for an early flight on departure. I would absolutely stay here again, and given how taken we were with Prague I certainly hope to.

Scotland just had 3 wonderful nights in prague staying at the hotel seven days. When we ( 3 couples) arrived at the hotel we were met by the porter who took our bags up to our rooms.
The hotel is only 4 years old but very nicely done out . The staff could not have been better, very helpful . The receptionist booked our city tour and we were picked up at the hotel at no extra cost.
We were walking distance from the main areas we wanted to see, the main square is full of narrow cobbled streets and we easy got lost more than once but that added to the adventure.
We were there for the xmas market stalls in the old town square which were very quaint, the hot mulled wine went down a treat as it was cold but dry.
We dined out 2 nights , we found the food tended to be served warm both nights and the dumplings are something else and must be experienced! We certainly didn\'t go hungry.
We ate in the hotel on our last night which was very good for the price and the breakfasts were very substantial.
i would recommend this hotel for its location, food, friendliness and cleanliness.
