Hotel Seven Days

Pennsylvania

The Seven Days Hotel has friendly, English-speaking staff. We were traveling with a 7-yr-old child and accidentally marked 1-yr-old on our Expedia reservation. The hotel staff noticed this right away and had the room remade (removing crib and replacing it with a bed) immediately while we were still checking in. A porter carried our luggage to the room. We were welcomed into our room with a welcome message and inviting music playin g on our TV screen. The room was very spacious, esp. by European standards. There was free Internet access in the room and we easily borrowed an Internet cable from the front desk. The bathroom was equally spacious with a large tub. The hotel was conveniently located less than one block from the Muzeum subway stop and within easy walking distance of Wenceslas Square and the Old City center. The breakfast buffet was included in the room price and had a wide variety of hot and cold offerings. Check-out was quick and easy as the hotel was pre-paid through Expedia. All we had to do was turn in our room keys. A first class hotel all the way--highly recommended.

Scotland

The hotel was really good - clean and good sized room, central location (everywhere was within walking distance - even the castle), reception staff very helpful but.....
one evening my wife not feeling too well just wanted a couple of pieces of bread and butter. It was not \"on the computer\" so we had to buy a round of sandwiches and remove the filling to get two slices of bread - and it cost over £4 ! !
I think a little initiative was called for....

Washington, D.C.

We stayed for 5 days/ 4 nights and were very happy with Hotel Seven Days. All staff spoke English, most documentation was available in English. Great breakfast, plenty of choices and plenty of food. A couple blocks walk to the metro/subway station to get all over the city. Good size guestroom and bathroom. Hotel booked a night cruise for us and even got them to pick us up at the hotel at no extra charge. We were able to get rates of 110E which made it an excellent value. Prague itself was amazing and this hotel made a perfect base for us.

This hotel is very clean throughout, however as my husband and I went for a 3 night romantic trip it was more than a little spoilt by us being given a 6th floor(attic) room which had a sky view only. We did ask to have an upgrade but very polite and friendly staff told us that it was not possible even though we did observe a group of about 6 people(3 x couples) come to the hotel and check in without having had a reservation made!
Breakfast was dissapointing.
We would not stay again. sorry....

south Yorkshire

we arrived at prague airport, got the 119 bus to the metro station, and after four stops arrived in the centre of prague, we could not believe how simple it was. We were able to walk to our hotel down from the museum, took around 10mins. The hotel was very clean, and friendly, the breakfast was superb, especially for us as we are vegetarians, buffet style. Our room was a little on the small side, but nevertheless comfortable. it would have been nice to have tea making facilities in our room, but we just went into the lobby bar and ordered our drinks and took them up to our room. We both enjoy running in the morning, and found that once down by the river we would go over Charles bridge and into the old quarter, and come back over one of the many other bridges. It actually rained most of the time we were in Prague, we found an umbrella in our room, courtesy of the hotel which was thoughtful and useful, but it was still warm, and didn\'t deter us from our exploring. A good vegetarian restaurant is country best, near the main square, and there was a hotel that did good vegetarian food near the main square also. My only downside to our trip, and my own fault was that I left my camera in the bedroom, it had a video of my marriage last year on it, I rang the hotel the next day, they were very good, and rang me back but no camera, apart from that a brilliant few days away, highly recommend.
