Hotel Seven Days

UK

The hotel is very easy to get to. From the airport take the bus and then metro to the museum. Follow the signs to Zitna, walk up the hill (50p, yes just 50p). The whole journey should take less than one hour.

Hotel well insulated from busy roads outside, one negative is that you cannot open the windows. If you get the room with the statues on the balcony you may think someone is about to jump when it\'s dark.

Breakfast is very good and you can eat as much as you like. The dining area is very refined. The rest of the facilities are at an extra cost (Jacuzzi etc)

Would not recommend eating in the hotel as it is very expensive. Just down the road try the Ceska Hospoda for some simple Czech fare and the very posh but inexpensive by western standards restaurant behind radio free europe Zahrada v Opeøe .

Another good night out can be had at the opera see (-)opera(-)navsteva_opery for details

Hotel is not central, but Prague is very compact and you can take in most of the sights on foot. When you get tired the tram stop for route 22 is just round the corner and this will take you all the way to the castle, funicular, malonstranke etc, for again 50p.

Check out time is midday, but they do have a secure luggage area.

Overall thought it was a very good hotel, at a good price. Hope you find the same, we intend to go back again.

Accueil chaleureux, le personnel aimable et souriant. L\'hotêl est rès bien situé pour silloner la ville quant aux les chambres elles sont de très bon confort. Le restaurant est de la même facture. A recommander sans hésitation

We stayed from 14th February to 16th February, we had a fantastic time at this hotel, the rooms are very large and clean, the breakfast is fantastic, following a previous report about the early closing of the bar we were arriving back at the hotel about 10.30pm and the bar stayed open untill we decided to go to bed, never before 12.30am so this seems to be if there are people in the bar it will stay open, the down side no tea and coffee making or ironing in your rooms, there was a safe and mini bar with prices quite low. The City of Prague is one City not to miss the architecture and people of Prague are fantastic, we will go back this year and stay at this Hotel. Go and see the changing of the guard at the castle.

Varese

We stayed at the Seven Days hotel from the 20th to the 24th of February. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel and we thought that the facilities were of a high standard.

It was easy to reach the hotel from the airport. We bought a ticket from the airport for the equivalent of about £6, which allowed us to travel on the buses, metros and trams for 7 days. This was really good value and easy to use. The only downfall was the walk up Zitna from the metro station to reach the hotel, but it was much better value than a taxi. We could also get onto the trams when travelling around the city.

Our room in the hotel was very clean and well decorated. We had a very large room with a lovely bathroom. They even provided slippers, a dressing gown and a variety of toiletrees, which were really useful.

The breakfast was varied and tasty and served until 11, which was good if you wanted a lie in. We didn\'t really need to speak to the staff very much, but they were friendly when checking in and out.

The hotel is about 2 minutes from Wenscelas Square, but a little further from other areas such as the Little Quarter and the Jewish Quarter. If you want a very central location, this may not be the hotel for you. Although, it was lovely to walk through the city to reach any of these places. The hotel is also on a busy road, which can be difficult to cross, but there is no road noise when in the hotel.

We found lots of places to eat in the evening, which were located near to the hotel. It felt safe to wander around after dark and we found lots of reasonable places, both during the day and in the evenings.

Overall, we would recommend the hotel, especially to younger couples and groups of friends. The rooms were lovely, the breakfast enjoyable and we really enjoyed staying there. The hotel made our stay in Prague very memorable.
