south west Excellent service and accommodation. We have no grumbles whatever. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is certainly well worth eating in the hotel in the evenings. Absolute culinary delights.

London Terible hotel! They denied the problem with the air - conditioning which was not working and refused to change our room even though we made complains the 4 nights we were there.
You have been warned.

USA Well, I booked this hotel online for a rate of 129€. Sounded like a fair price, given the competition in Prague.
The hotel was a total disappointment. I have no idea where to start.
The front desk manager, who was there the night I arrived, was totally arrogant and rude. He did not welcome me, he treated me like a person who wants something from him. I simply had the feeling I am not welcome.
I arranged for a limo pickup at the airport. I did not expect a S-Class, but at least I expected a car with a/c. Well, it was a Ford station wagon with no ac. Ok, no big deal. But then the guy at the front desk who charges you for EVERYTHING. I even had to pay a 15% commission for the pickup, which was executed by the hotel limo. I do not get that.
The room was a bad joke. It was approximately 2.5x3 meters, the AC was a fan. That was it. And it was 30°C this day. The TV set had a 12\" monitor so I decided to watch a movie on my laptop instead.
I have been to small hotel rooms, but it was Manhattan and I paid less then there. And these hotels were not rated that high.
The bed was ok I guess. It was so hot I could not get to sleep.
The bathroom was ok, but for a five star hotel, I expect more.
The breakfast was included in the accomodation rate. Ok, but if you charge for that breakfast, you will get complaints right away.
I was sitting there for 10 minutes and had to call the waitress to get coffee. The refill took her another 10 minutes. The selection of food was poor.
So, to sum it up:
small, badly equipped room with no AC
rude staff
overcharge you everywhere possible
I have n
My advice: Stay away from tha hotel, it is not worth it.
Five stars is a joke. I travel quite often and I ususally stay in 4-5 star hotels. This one does not even come close. I would rate it a two star, three max. But the price is not right for the quality.
Don\'t get me wrong here. I am not picky. If I pay a reasonable price, I do not complain about quality. But this one here is a rip off.

East Coast Last week my boyfriend and I were pleasantly shocked at how accommodating, glamorous, clean and relaxing our room was at Hotel Esplanade. Prague is a city of beauty that speaks for itself but the location and views from Esplanade were breathtaking. Ask for a room up top with a balcony- you\'ll be very pleased. As American tourists who really appreciate and enjoy traveling \'non-touristy\' locations and destinations we really feel like we hit the jack pot by choosing this hotel. *If you go, ask the concierge about the best restaurants- they defiantly recommended a few of the BEST restaurants in town. Also, the Continental Breakfast is wonderful too.
