London We loved this hotel. My husband used it in April when on business in Prague, and suggested we return for a short break. I am so pleased we did. The room was very comfortable. We had a bath, and a cupboard with hanging space. Tea and coffee making things would have been good, but we just purchased bottles of water and soft drinks form the local Tesco! We had no problems with\"expensive hotel taxis\", we bought a three-day travel ticket for 220Kc each, then hopped on and off trams to our hearts content, the simple way back to the airport from the hotel is a number 26 tram from opposite the hotel, changing to a 119 airport bus. We bought the ticket at the airport when we arrived and just followed the map - more fun than taxis!!
Breakfast was fine, we were not left hungry. Staff all seemed pleasent enough, although obviously busy as the hotel appeared full.
Prague is a beautiful city, and the hotel is ideally situated for walking around and for using the excellent tram system.
We would stay here again if we return to Prague.

Paris First a general tip concerning \"hotel taxis\" = if you ask for a taxi to luxury hotel receptionnist in Prague, you will most probably end up using the hotel limousine.
Very expensive.
So if you want the receptionist to simply call you a taxi from outside, just specify you need a NORMAL taxi. I had the same issue with other hotels in Prague (e.g. Palace Hotel in Panska).
I had a fight on that with 987 Prague Hotel during my last stay because I really don\'t like this habit of those hotels to systematically re-direct you to the most expensive services.
So yes, I confirm what other people wrote about the unfriendly staff.
And I confirm what the reviewer from Florida wrote about the awkward design of the furniture in the hotel rooms = I may be European and used to small bathrooms, I really did not like the totally unpractical design of the rooms of this hotel. It might be very nice but it is totally unpractical =
- very little space to put your stuff / clothes
- the washbasin is in the room itself (cold if you just get out of the shower), with parquet floor below

Manchester UK This is a fantastic hotel. Very funky, extremelly clean, tidy with friendly staff.
Its located near the main stattion and ten minutes walk from the old town.
They have some rooms there are on two floors with your own staircase, just like a duplex apartment.
However, do not get them to book a taxi for you, as we were overcharged by 250 crowns.

Nottingham I could gush about this hotel all day!!
The hotel was everything I expected and more. I work in the business myself therefore know of the difficulties you can get at hotels however the room my partner and I stayed in – was FANTASTIC. I loved the layout and he was ecstatic about the ‘Louis ghost chairs’ in the room (he now wants some for our flat- and they are on their way!!). I organised the stay with the hotel it\'s self and was really concerned that it would all go wrong however when we arrived my friend and her partner went in the lift before us, as I got to our floor I could hear squealing about the room and how \'cool\' and \'stylish\' everything was!!
I had read a few bad reviews on ‘this site about the hotel; difficulties on checkout, the breakfast not being up to scratch and the reception staff being rude and not very pleasant.
I thought the complete opposite – the breakfast was delicious- massive choice and everything was fresh.
Checkout was no problem at all and reception staff were kind and more than helpful. I called from the airport in the UK before we arrived and they had a taxi waiting with my name on a board on our arrival, it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. When I wanted to book a restaurant for the evening from my room it was no trouble at all. The hotel was always clean and all the staff were more than willing to help. Overall we thought the hotel was fantastic.
Please note: it was my partner’s birthday whilst we were away at the hotel, and we had dinner at Kampa Park, just over the Charles Bridge – the food was delicious, the atmosphere was romantic and the view over the Charles Bridge was worth every penny - I definite must visit.

Brisbane We are a young couple who stayed in this hotel in January 2007. The room was one of the best we stayed in on our 7 week trip around Europe. It was very modern, clean and comfortable. The location was good. You could walk to the main street of Prague in 5-10 minutes. There was a tram stop across the street and a large train station in the same street as the hotel. The buffet breakfast was very nice, alot like home. The only thing we didn\'t like was that the staff weren\'t particulary friendly. They did help us to book several tours however I was very sick the night of our first tour and we had to cancel. The staff were quite unimpressed and slightly rude about it. Other then that we enjoyed our stay.
