Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

La signature du \'designer\' est apparente partout: dans le décor, le choix de meubles et dans les petites touches originales. Le Design 987 est bien situé à 50m d\'un arrêt de tram et à quelques minutes à pied de la place St. Wenceslas. L\'hotel offre un assez bon niveau de ocnfort dans les chambres et fournit un petit déjeuner style buffet, copieux et d\'une bonne qualité. Il manque pourtant un restaurant (sandwichs servis au bar uniquement hors des heures du pdj). Le personnel est courtois. Seul détail embêtant: impossibilité de pendre plus qu\'un pantalon dans la chambre supérieure, faute d\'armoire.

Having just come back from my first visit to Prague, I thought I should offer advice and comments about this hotel. I stayed here with my sister and we were given a twin room. The beds were very comfortable, the view was nice and the rain shower was cool! The walk to the Old Square was about ten minutes and we felt quite safe walking back at night. The hotel was \'modern\' and the decor was close to that found in an Ikea catalogue, but it was perfect for a short stay. The staff were very helpful, most of them being very fluent in English. There was a good selection for breakfast (we certainly didn\'t go hungry!) All in all it was perfect for a short stay in Prague. On a city break, not a huge amount of time is spent in the hotel and I would (and have) recommended this hotel to others.
