Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

It\'s a very simple hotel, great for business trips and for those who don´t care about interior decoration and don´t spend to much time at the hotel.
Very clean and the rooms were very warm and comfortable.
The breakfast was average with no surprises.
The hotel lobby had a funny strange smell.
Excellent location, just a 5\'\' walking to the Old Town.

We were supposed to stayed at the Rokoko Hotel, but the central heating went off.... Well, maybe next time.

We stayed at the Ramada hotel which is perfectly located in Wenceslas Square. If you come to Prague by train, the main station is only 2 blocks away. There are multiple metro stops within a block of the hotel so it is easy to travel around to wherever you would like to see. I recommend walking down into the main squares as there are so many good restaurants and pubs on the small side streets.

Breakfast was above average. They had a great selection of breads and cereals as well as fruits and pastries. Coffee was \'ok\' and the fruit juice could use a little more fruit in it. It was very watered down. Other than that, the breakfast was good.

The only complaint I have about the hotel is if you stay in the rear sections, you must traverse a smoking area which is used substantially. If you are a smoker, this is ok, but if you are a non-smoker, there is no avoiding it.

For the money, the Ramada is a great choice in a beautiful city!

Stayed in this Top Class hotel for 3 nights in November 07. Location is excellent for shops, sights, night-life etc.
Rooms were top class. Service was excellent, people on reception recommended some really nice restaurants nearby.
Only flaw was breakfast, not good.
Overall I would highly recommend it as a base for sightseeing, shopping, night-life. Also it was excellent value for what we got.
