I highly recommend this hotel. After looking and looking for a hotel in Prague I couldn?t believe when I found Hotel Rokoko, managed by Argentur, which owns many other hotels in the city. The hotel promised a lot of good things for a very low price and it truly offered all of them. I stayed in a standard room in 2006. Starting with the hotel?s location, it couldn?t be better. Located right at Venceslau Square, it is in walking distance to mostly all tourist attractions and it is served by two of the major subway stations, Muzeum and Mustek. The entire hotel has been renovated and everything is brand new. The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and impeccably clean. I specifically asked for a room that did not face the street because I knew Venceslau Square was noisy day and night. I was given a non-smoking room with a back view and it was very quiet and sunny. Breakfast was included in the price and it offered a variety of breads, fruits, juices, cheeses, jams, etc. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, most of them spoke English.
The bad side: the rooms have no air-conditioning and if you love air conditioning like I do I wouldn?t dare stay there during the summer.
Aside from that, I have absolutely no complains about the hotel. It?s cheap and great all around.

Just returned from a week at the Rokoko, The rooms were nice. However, on the second floor (3rd Floor in US) the street noise including garbage collections was very annoying. The Breakfasts were uninspired with usually cold scrambled eggs, hot dogs, and bacon. I don't know why this was rated at 4 stars, in my opinion it was not.
We were told to contact there agent at the airport for the transfer to the hotel. The agent told us their cars where not available and we should take a taxi and would be reimbursed by the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told to fill out a form and we would be reimbursed for the transfer. When we checked out, we were informed that we would not be reimbursed the $30 transfer fee.

We booked a 3 night stay through Prague Experience in September 2005 for a 3 night stay in April 2006. Upon arrival we were advised that a party who had booked 15 rooms required 17, therefore they were given our rooms and we were to go to a hotel in Praha 5. When we objected as we wanted to be in the centre we had to spend the first night in the Best Western Kampa (dreadful) and transfer the next day to the Ramada Symphony (very good). If you book this hotel make sure the booking is confirmed before you travel.

We stayed at the Rokoko for 4 nights in May 2006. Our rooms on the 6th floor were of a good size, well furnished and comfortable. To operate the air conditioning, we had to obtain a remote control from the front desk after paying a cash deposit, which was strange, as they had already swiped my credit card at check in. In fact, they need cash up front for everything, from city tours and concerts to courier services. Nothing can be paid by credit card or billed to your room. This is not what you expect in a 4 star hotel.
Apart from this, the hotel is quite good. Location is excellent. Except one person, the staff is quite friendly. Breakfast is average.

This hotel is very clean. Our room was perfecto. The staff very friendly,and always helpful. The location is very central for everything. The only complaint is that the air conditioning was not working in the food area where you have breakfast. Found it very hot and stuffy,and half an hour was enough for all of us.
I would stay here again for sure. Great time was had by all!! ;-)
