We got the hotel from the Rick Steve\'s book. Overall, a great place to stay. The hotel is not in the city center, rather one subway stop out of the center in a nice residential neighborhood. We would stay there again if we return to Prague.

The hotel itself was fantastic, exceptionally clean, very friendly staff, and breakfast was served on time with great attention to detail. The hotel Sieber belongs to the Sieber family and was built in 1889 as a typical three-storey block of flats with the fourth floor being added in 1931. The family have completely refurbished the building to its original hi-class. Check out the crystal chandeliers in reception I counted about 6! The hotel is a little out of the way but I felt it was worth the two stops on the metro and the two-minute skip to reception. Local pubs I found safe to drink in and the prices were half that of the city centre prices.
