Fairfax, Virginia I booked this through a travel agent located in Prague. The hotel is a little bit away from the city center, but I loved being slightly \'away from it all\'. The metro stop was barely a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there are some many great small restaurants and bars close by (you need to search for them though).
I had a room on the top floor and it was small but loft style. I had a bit of trouble getting a constant stream of hot water, but was okay with it. Beds are typical Euro style and firm mattresses. Had a small tv and wi-fi avaliable in the room.
Breakfast was nice and included - cheese, meats, museli, fresh bread. Most of staff spoke Czech, German and English. Very small, but pleasant experience. I will definitely stay there again when I return.

Belfast, United Kingdom My husband and I have just returned from the Sieber hotel after celebrating our silver wedding anniversery in Prague. On arrival in our beautiful room we found a lovely personel note to us on our arrival. The room was absolutely spotless and decoration was of the highest standard. We had everything we could have wished for on our stay from the really friendly welcome by Stephanie at reception to the service at breakfast and nothing appeared too much trouble for anyone. The hotel is situated in a very handy area to get to by airport bus and metro. A ticket for 3 days costs £5 and can be used on the buses, trams and metro + getting to and from the airport. Restaurants in the area are really good especially the Viking(turn left and left again when you leave the hotel)and the food is excellent. Prague feels like a very safe city and we have visited most capitals and we will return to visit the Sieber again in the future!

London We stayed in the Sieber for two weeks during a scientific congress. It was also our 25th anniversary. We enjoyed everything about the Sieber. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and they will joyfully do scrambled eggs etc to order. The service was at all times extremely helpful and friendly, and you always had the feeling you were an honoured guest. When we arrived, they went out of their way to find out how we could obtain 15-day passes for the Metro and trams, and wrote out detailed instructions in Czech for the little old lady in the main station who sold them. Our entire stay was like that. The building is very solid and we never heard noises from other rooms. The hotel is a little way outside the main tourist areas but very close to the Jiriho z Podobrad station (average train interval seemed to be 4 minutes) hence very convenient. There are frequent trams in streets either side of the Sieber. One great plus is the little restaurant Mozaika 2 short blocks west. The food was outstanding and moderately priced compared to offerings in Wenceslaus Square and cafes in the Old Town, hence we ate dinner there several times. We would definitely stay here again, and probably will.

Athens We have just a returned from a 5 day trip to Prague. Our stay in Sieber hotel was much above average . very clean , friendly staff , wonderful bathroom . Only 2 minutes walk from the nearest metro station (which is absolute safe) and 2-3 stations away from city-center . What i enjoyed the most was the feeling that we were not seen us customers from the hotel staff but as roomates . Highly recomended

USA We are Innkeepers in the U.S.A., and I can\'t say enough good things about this hotel. It was excellent. The rooms clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was gorgeous. The location was fine, not to far from the center. What really makes this place great though, the staff. I have never encountered such helpful, cheerful staff as the Sieber. They helped me to track down a girl who lived with us for a year, several years ago, and we had lost track of her. We were able to reunite with her, meet her husband and see her baby! This hotel is a class act, and I would recommend it to anyone. They care about their guests, and it comes across with every detail, from the staff, to the wonderful linens, to the breakfast, to their recommendations for dinner, etc, etc. You will not be disappointed if you stay with them.
