Chicago, Illinois We stayed at the new Yasmin hotel in Prague for 3 days the last week of April 2006 and were very pleased with this hotel. Found great prices on various sites on internet that included breakfast. Location is convienent to metro and the train station to other parts of Europe. We flew into Prague and took the bus to the metro to the Mustek stop which was an easy walk to the hotel. Prague is an easy city to walk and this hotel is located within walking distance to the tourist sites and restaurants. Rooms are nicely appointed and modern (non-smoking floors available, flat screen tvs, 3 english channels, internet $10/day). Breakfast was truely wonderful with fruit, pasteries, cheese, eggs, potatoes, cereals, etc. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a 4 star+ hotel.

Wigan i visited the hotel yasmin with my boyfriend mid april and i am surprised to see somebody complaining about it. i booked it as a 21st birthday present for my partner and it was cheap at £235 for 3nights bed and breakfast. well i thought that was cheap considering it was a 4/5 star hotel on websites. the design of the hotel is amazing, it is extremely clean, and the staff were so helpful and spoke excellent english. the rooms were complete with mini-bar, flat screen tv, lovely fluffy towels and slippers! the bathroom had sleek black tiles and mirrors all around. i just cant even begin to describe the lobby and restaurant area as it was just out of this world, well to us it was anyway. breakfast did finish at 10.30 but if you get down there ar 9.45ish there is still plenty of food, everything you could want for your breakfast. it might say continental on some websites but there is bacon, egg, sausages and hash browns. i think thats a little more than continental. the only thing i could fault about this hotel is i had to really pick, was that we couldnt really work out the heating/air conditioning. but even that didnt really bother us. i would certainly visit Prague again and this hotel. even in the hotel, the drinks were realtively cheap which you dont usually find.
if you need transport from the hotel, dont hesitate to use the airport taxi firm, it is all good and is not expensive at all. it cost us £15 to our hotel. when going home, we used the hotels taxis and that cost about £23. there is just so much to see and do, just make sure you take a guide book. i forgot mine and so we were looking at things and not knowing what they were for! there isnt many shops that sell tour books.
the final thing i would say is, if your cosidering this hotel, go for it. i went about a month after it had just open and i was expecting unfinished rooms etc. but there was none of that, it was perfect for us.

Newcastle upon Tyne - United Kingdom Hotel Yasmin, (not to be confused with the Jasmin Hotel) just off Wenceslas square in Prague centre.
Ideal location, off the noisier main streets and squares but within minutes walk of all the attractions.
A very modernistic fit out of a more traditional style of building with some fantastic features. Rooms and en-suite bathrooms are excellent, comfortable and very clean. The restaurant and breakfasts are tremendous, plus food and drink for a top class hotel is very cheap.
There were three couples in our party and we all thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay in this beautiful city, and would not hesitate to book the same accommodation again.
Get a day pass for the trams (costs about 80p) and jump on and off as you fancy, for a quick refresher you know, like you do, and have a wander, see some sights etc.
Check out the bar/ restaurant directly over the road from the hotel entrance, it doesn't look much from the outside, but inside the beer, food and atmosphere is really great.
Roll on next year.

birmingham,uk At 150 euros a night for a double with breakfast this hotel was a real find. Wonderful design, large rooms & well appointed bathrooms would return,
Breakfast really does finish within seconds of 10.30 so dont be fooled when they say breakfast is until 10.30 !! The Spanish would not approve. They struggled to cope with keeping on top of breakfast frequently running out of the simple stuff like bread !! But it is a good spread with many cooked items.
Took airport car to hotel 700 ie £17.50 & hotel taxi back at 800 ie £20, dont know how much ordinary taxis are but why spoil a nice expereince for sake of a pound or two.
However if i went again i would stay away from Wenecelas Sq, its become quite tacky & spoilt by English ( & others ) stag do,s & endless touts.

St Ervan, Wadebridge We decided to travel to Prague as a last minute Honeymoon destination. I had found the Yasmin hotel and checked Trip Advisor as I always do. It had fab reviews and I totally agree with them all. The hotel is just a couple minutes walk from the main square. Very easy to find. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very contemporay in style. Not quite sure with the furry red things in the breakfast area ;-). Breakfast was also very good...with lots to choose from. As the others have said breakfast is cleared away around 10.30am. As for getting from the airport you couldn't get any easier...bus 119..this will take you to the green line metro and there is only one way you can go...about 4/5 stops and your at the main square. I must admit the ticket process is a little strange as they work on time...but a word of warning make sure you get some sort of ticket as we got the wrong one and this cost us 500ckz each fine...that part was very corrupt. Prague is a beautiful place to visit. We didn't experience any problems with Stag dos or touts, but we did go during the week. I would advise anyone stay at this hotel.
