Scotland We spent three nights here in February 2008. With Ibis, the only significant missing ingredient is local character - you could be in one of their hotels anywhere, but that\'s true of most chains. That is probably the only downside. In this particular Ibis, we had perfect, friendly service (not least when a problem arose that was entirely of our making), food at breakfast that was more than adequate and a room that may not have been luxurious but was comfortable and scrupulously clean. Indeed, the entire hotel was spotless. The Ibis Old Town is very well located, just a few minutes\' walk from the old town square and not much more than ten minutes\' stroll from the Charles Bridge. The nearest tram stop is virtually outside the hotel and the metro is no more than a couple of minutes away. There are some good restaurants within easy reach; the Rough Guide led us to a particularly nice French one. All in all, this was a good base in a beautiful city and we\'d not hesitate to use it again.

grayshott We stayed for 4 nights, from 11/2/08 to 15/2/08. The room was small, but very clean as per; rest of the whole hotel. The breakfast was excellent, served from 0630hrs until noon. The location of the hotel in the Old Town was central to most of the attractions, Tram stop was 3 minutes walk, and the Metro 6 minutes away.

Cork, Ireland Stayed for 2 nights in early February.
This Hotel is standard Ibis.
Location is Good, about 10-15 minutes walk to Old Town Square
Rooms are clean but small, shower in our room was overly sensitive, either freezing or roasting.
Prices in Bar are standard if not a bit above.
Overall a very adequate hotel room as long as you know what to expect and you are not planning to spend too much time in the room.
Rack Rate published in Hotel was 120 euro /room/night
I suggest if you end up paying this much there would be better alternatives.
Prague is great city but be aleart to overpricing and being ripped over regarding food and drink prices.
On a negative note, whilst sitting in the IBIS bar after a night out at around 3am, we were offered the \'services\' of \'ladies\' by the Bellboy.
We politeley declined, but it was not something we would expect to happen at an Ibis. There is enough of that going on out on the streets.
I fail to see how anyone could rate this more than 3*\'s
Its fine, its clean, its adeqaute. No more.

Nottinghamshire, UK Stayed at The Ibis Old Town for 4 nights and it was very much to be expected. The hotel is well located close enough to the shops / bars to not need public transport but far enough away to be quiet.
The hotel has a large breakfast lounge and there was never a shortage of places to sit given the size of the hotel. The variety and quantity of food at breakfast was fine, the rooms themselves were large enough for a city stay, the bathroom was good and the shower was excellent (very large cubicle with a powerful shower).
The only problem being the bed, it\'s fine if you like a hard matress but it\'s a plank of chipboard supported in the middle with a hard matress on it, the noise whenever you moved in bed was terrible as it felt like the chipboard was just going to snap in two, my partner and I both had little sleep and ended up with back ache!
The hotel though was good value for money and in a good location.
