Sydney Staff were great, the atmosphere is personal and easy, my room was quite and comfortable with a lovely aspect and plenty of light looking out onto leafy trees. There were soft chimes from the monastery bell. Restaurant is 25 metres away in the courtyard and its interior is spacious and beautifully rustic with tasteful detail and serving reasonably priced nutritious food from 11am open till 11pm. Tram ride is 12 minutes and about USD1.00 return to city - it is a good move to get away from the madding crowd of the old city to rest in a beautiful environment. I stayed for 27 days and take away enriching memories. Beautiful people, beautiful place.

Bolton, Manchester The hotel is in the grounds of a monastery (still functioning!) and the grounds are really lovely and well kept - it was really nice to be staying in a place that had some history behind it too. Although it was quite far away from the city centre there were regular trams into town and there was a stop just across the road, the trams were really cheap and you can buy the tickets from the reception at the hotel (we only figured this out near the end of out stay!!). Taxi\'s back to the hotel in the evenings were reasonable too.
The rooms were clean and the bathroom we had was gorgeous, a really nice large shower and a spacious bathroom. I don\'t think they had double beds, we requested a double room and got a twin room - but we just pushed the beds together it wasn\'t a problem. The room came with a safe, minibar, tv - all the usual.
The breakfast was the usual continental kind offered in most places with some hot food too (sausages and other days eggs.)

Covington, Georgia USA My wife and I were looking for a central reasonably priced hotel and selected the Adalbert. It is on the grounds of an old convent and the setting is beautiful. A wonderful church is still on the location. The hotel is located about two miles from the castle on the same street. The rooms are a little spartan but the setting and service make up for it. If you are not driving the trolley stops right in front of the Adalbert. I highly recommend it.
