Israel staff - great (speaks english very well and very helpful).
food - very good.
location - bad - there is a bus (comes once in a ~20-30 minutes) to get to the city center, but who\'d like to wait 20 minutes for a bus in his vacation (especially at night).
rooms - very nice. new furtniture. TV recieves mostly checz stations.
Big issue : walls are very thin. you can hear the people next door (you actually think that they\'re in your room).
This hotel is popular among teenagers groups which means...lots of noise. Together with the thin walls...well...you get the pictures.
All and all, I wouldn\'t go there again. there are lots of hotels with better location and quieter environment.

Belfast Hotel Populus
Hotel Populus, in Na Viktorce in Prague, is a very good standard of hotel. Whilst not the cheapest, it is ideal for the tourist who wishes to spend some time in the hotel or go out travelling or partying, whatever you prefer!
When I went there, the food was of a very high standard, as was the competence and manners of the staff. It is also not in the city centre, outside it in a less busy and quiet part of Prague, with just several small businesses around it, and also, excellently placed, a service station just across the road which will fill most needs.
Also, at the back of the hotel, are two convenient bus stops on either side of the road, both of which end up at the Metro (underground train service) and both routes which cover extensive parts of Prague.
Another plus about the staff is that the majority of them could understand, if not, speak English so there is that problem sorted!
I also believe you would not have much trouble getting a vacancy at this hotel, as when we went there, there was a large group of 25 of us, then another group of 30 arrived, and there were still plenty of vacancies at the hotel. Of course, you must bear in mind that when I went there it was in February, a very cold climate and low season for tourists.
All rooms are heated for the winter, or air conditioned for the summer, and all have hot and cold water, a shower and/or bath, toilet, sink, a telephone (which I believe is internal), and television, with some English channels such as EuroSport, CNN, and other entertainment channels such as MTV Europe, and Czech TV channel Nova.
Another convenience is that bus and Metro tickets can be bought at the hotel, which must be stamped on a bus or train, and are valid for 90 minutes. They are not expensive ; 12 Czech Kroners or roughly 30p, and these give you unlimited travel on bus and Metro for 90 minutes.
The hotel contains a reception with comfortable seats and television, a restaurant, and a bar, and most importantly of all.....complementary sweets!
In all seriousness however, I would highly recommend Hotel Populus in Prague. Ideal for most people who want to enjoy either a relaxing, entertaining or interesting holiday.
