Kent Stayed at the Slavia Prague in April with a group of friends. Found it to be clean, comfortable and the staff we very friendly. Our whole group liked the hotel and the tram stop was just outside so very handy.
Would recommend anytime!

Southend on sea, Essex The hotel room is small, but we were prepared for that. However, the curtains fell down as we walked into the room. They were so thin they wouldn\'t have offered much privacy. The bed had no sheets, and the pillows were dirty. The bathroom floor had been mopped, but the scum had been swept behind the bathroom door where it was less visible. The shower was stained, and the shower head was corroded. Worst of all were the bare electrical wires hanging out of the extractor fan directly above the shower head, and a socket next to the bed was hanging out of the wall. Two bare wires, without any insulation, were attached to the socket and were within easy reach of anyone laying in the bed and could easily have been touched accidentally. The chair in the room began to collapse as soon as it was sat on. There were no Emergency Procedure notices in the room to advise of the escape route in case of fire or other emergency. We left the hotel within 10 minutes of arriving

Warrington What a dump. We arrived there and there were no lights on. The staff at the desk were using obscene language. The rooms were reminiscent of a youth hostel. One night the taps wouldn\'t turn off, staff turned up and were useless. Everything was a major hassle to them.
THEN THEY OVERCHARGED US ON OUR CREDIT CARD- WE ARE STILL DEALING WITH THIS NOW.
PLEASE PEOPLE, DON\'T GO HERE!!!!!!

Cheshire, England We have just returned from spending a weekend at the hotel. We could not believe our luck, it was very clean, warm, welcoming and for a basic hotel very comfortable. The helpful reception staff organised taxis etc. for us. It is very accessible for the centre of Prague with its excellent transport links, although the taxis were in expensive. The breakfast was very nice and there was plenty of choice. Would recommend this hotel for weekend stay at a bargain price.

north east england i was really worried about this hotel after reading all the reviews. we stayed 17-19th oct and found it to be basic but clean. we only needed place to sleep as were in prague centre all day sight seeing. its a 2 min walk to tram which takes 20 mins to wenslas square. was definitly not as bad as some people have said, you are paying for what you get. hotel is mostly used by sports groups or schools so lots of teenagers can be heard but certainly didny disturb sleep. have stayed in travel lodge and ahve heard people coming in late and banging on doors to get in rooms so didnt find it that much different. dont expect too much and wont be disapointed. i was REALLY worried but at end of day it served its purpose.
