This was my second trip to Prague. I was delighted to get a room in U Karlova Mostu which is on the beautiful, elegant and QUIET Na Kampe, down one flight of steps from the Charles Bridge and therefore an ideal location for exploring.
I had a very comfortable double room (for single use) which overlooked the square-very scenic beneath snow ! The ensuite bathroom was not enormous but certainly adequate, and I enjoyed the breakfasts (nice selection of hot and cold ; good coffee).
The hotel was quiet and the reception staff always helpful. I took up their offer (made in advance) of a taxi to and from the airport.
It made no difference to me but I would point out there didn\'t seem to be a lift on the premises.

Herts England
Just spent four days at the Archibald with my mum, fantastic hotel, immacutely clean, friendly and helpful staff, good food. Some have mentioned the breakfast but there was ample, loads of diffrent breads, croissants, cereals, yogurts, fruit, cheeses, meats, egg and bacon.
We had room 21 on the third floor, no lifts but only approx 12 steps on each floor so no problem. Although all rooms looked fab. The room was roomy, fantastic views over Charles Bridge and the river, comfortable beds and cosy cotton bed linen, sofa, table and chairs, well stocked mini bar which was not overpriced, the bathroom was small (but who needs a bg bathroom when you should be out and about visiting this wondeful city ) with a powerful shower and lots of hot water, no bath, complimentary toiletries not loads but the basics.
Only thing it lacked was tea and coffee facilites in the room but the local brew was good!
Great location close to everything we didn\'t take a tram once, just walked everywhere. Go see Wencelas Square then leave very tacky. I will definetly return and use this hotel.

Scotland
We stayed here for three nights, and it was a great experience.
Slightly nervous about booking purely from reviews seen here, we were not to be disappointed with this hotel right near the Charles Bridge.
The staff, friendly and helpful, the room lovely and the superb location all made the trip great.
The slight downside was the oft-maligned breakfast - there could have been a better selction of food, and there was always a queue for the toaster! But really, this did nothing to spoil the stay.

This was our second trip to Prague and we wished to stay in Mala Strana this time. After considering 3 or 4 hotels in the area we decided on U Karlova Mostu. We were very happy with our choice !!! The location is terrific...right next to the Charles Bridge in a beautiful little square on Kampa Island. Our room was large, bright, and clean and offered a spectacular view of the Charles Bridge and the Vltava. The bathroom was modern with a nice stand-up shower. The breakfast was very good. The lobby was small but offered free internet.
Would stay here again and suggest to friends.

Spokane
I can\'t imagine staying any place in Prague other than the hotel at 15 Na Kampa. The location is fabulous, a block or two from the Charles Bridge, facing a lovely pedestrian square with small, pastel-colored hotels and restaurants, trees with benches in the middle. Our large room facing the square was the lovliest of our trip. We were enchanted with Prague, and I think a big part of our pleasure was the ability to return to such a lovely room at the end of each day.
