Superb location almost literally underneath the Charles Bridge! Located on a really quaint and quiet island - named \"Kampe\".

This was a very friendly, clean, recently refurbished hotel - due to the flooding.

The room felt like a flat with a separate hall-way leading to the bathroom/main bedroom.

Nice furniture, although two substantial wooden single beds were pushed together to form a double - apparently this is the norm.

The only downside was the room was a little cold even with the radiators on but this didn\'t cause too much of a problem to us.

We had breakfast each day which was nice and we ate evening meal here on two ocassions, once in \"Pub I\" and the other time in \"Pub II\" which are located on the ground floor/basement. Czech food is very hearty which is what you want when it\'s -10 and snowing outside like it was when we were there!

Took the Prague Airport Shuttle from the airport and a standard taxi back without problem.

Would stay here again without question.

I stayed here with friends to celebrate a birthday. There was 12 of in total and we all had great rooms. My rooms was facing the river and across to to old town. Breakfast was what you expect on the continent but there was a fantastic cafe about two minutes walk from the hotel. Serves hot chocolate in Pints!!!!

Great hotel, great location and you would need to be very picky not to enjoy your stay.

We\'ve just returned from 5 fabulous days at the U Karlova Mostu. The hotel exceeded all my expectations. It is in the best location you could pick for visiting all the different areas, situated in a quiet tree lined cobbled square. All the districts are within walking distance but there is a metro station 5-10 minutes away. The staff are really friendly and always greet you with a smile. The rooms were spotless and looked as if they\'d just been decorated. Complete with mini bar, safe, satellite TV and sofa. We stayed in a huge room with two windows overlooking the river and the Charles Bridge - absolutely breathtaking. We frequented Pub I on a number of occassions. The beer and food are excellent at very reasonable prices. One night we had heavy snowfall and temperatures were below zero, the fire in the Pub was so welcoming. The only disadvantage to the Pub is you have to go out of the hotel to the entrance On a freezing cold snowy night it would have been nicer to have access straight into the hotel but hey, if it hadn\'t been snowing I wouldn\'t have thought twice about it. Would definately recommend the hotel and would love to go back in the summer.
