Pennsylvania We had two rooms, both very nice and quite spacious. Excellent breakfast. Location is perfect for exploring this little gem of a town.
As other reviewers have said, the staff could stand to learn something more about guest relations: several were neither friendly nor helpful--to be fair, others were fine. Although the restaurant was supposed to be open until 10, we found the waitstaff closing up at 9:30 and the staff in the underground restaurant completely uninterested in seating us. Nonetheless we loved the town and found the hotel a good place to start our explorations.

London Spent a week there recently, lovely room and great location but terrible staff, rude and unhelpful especially the waiting staff.
We asked for desert after our meal and they laughed at us and said no way kitchen is closed! they don\'t seem to have any customer service skills at all, and it really runined our stay.
Its a very expensive hotel compared to the rest of the ones in the town. You you be better off staying in one of the Pensions and whatever you do don\'t eat the hotel restaurants as the ones in the town are half the price and friendly.

Vancouver The Old Inn was a bit disapointing for us.
Problems: Staff not friendly or helpful, requested a room with a shower and were moved to two differant rooms both of which did not have a shower- we finally gave up, beds not very comforable.
Positives: Location, hotel restaurant was incredible.
I think that when you stay in a hotel there are some basic things that will make your stay enjoyable- location, cleanliness, beds/pillows,bathroom facilities, helpful staff. The Old Inn definatley lacks in most areas.

Philadelphia The Old Inn enjoys an excellent location right on the square. We had a very large room in the back. It had three windows and one more in the bath. It was very comfortable with an oversize bed and a separate twin as well. We didn\'t use the twin but it would have been perfect for a third person. The bath also had a skylite. The desk staff was helpful and the internet was available for a modest fee. The included breakfast was very nice with excellent coffee, pastries, and cheeses. We also ate in the catcombs restaurant below the Inn - very good. You can tell, we would be very happy to return to the Inn.
While you\'re in town, be sure to take the castle tourr. It is one of the best.

Los Angeles, California Everything went very smooth and they were very helpful in correspondence and helping me figure out my way from the train station to their hotel.
I specifically asked for the white/pink room and was not dissapointed. The room itself is large.. the bed is OK.. but it seems like it wasn\'t any more/less comfortable than our hotel back in Prague. The bathroom was nice and we had a standup shower. Our room was not loud, at least I don\'t remember it being so.
The staff was very nice, check-in was easy and breakfast was good w/ had many options!
More than anything.. the hotel is right in town square. Everything is in close walking distance and it\'s easy to find your way around.
My only regret is not staying longer.
