Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

Cesky Krumlov is one of the most beautiful castle towns in Europe but the Hotel Ruze will leave you wishing for more. Inspite of having booked months in advance and requesting a room on the riverside, the very unfriendly front desk manager refused to move us from the noisy street side. If you go in the summer, you will have your windows open and it will be noisy with the night time crowds in the streets. After 1 night, we moved to another hotel for a 3rd of the price on the village square that is owned by the Ruze with much nicer rooms and staff. It is not necessary to pay these type of prices (almost $200/night)in the Czech Republic to get a nice room. Take the walking tour offered by the Visitor\'s Bureau - they really enjoying sharing their city and history with Americans.
