Colin Lee 4 of us recently stayed as a suprise for Sister-in-laws 40th birthday. The hotel sits right by the river (hence the name, but you do visit hotels who\'s name has nothing to do with its situation!!) and is a 10 - 15 min walk along the river to the heart of the city. The staff are \'serious looking\', not grumpy as others have said, but very helpful and incredibily well presented (they could teach English hotel staff a thing or two!)
We had 2 \'mini suites\' which where beautiful, clean and modern with fantasic bathrooms, not massive but very well kitted out.
My only word of warning was breakfast which cost £18 each! The lady who served us was brilliant/ bonkers (should have her own TV show)

York We have just returned from a week-end in Prague which was wonderful. The best bit was definately the choice of this hotel which was simply superb. The staff were second to none, nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent with some wonderful luxurious extras and the breakfast could not have been better. The only downside was the price of water in the mini-bar which was too expensive

Luke We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding aniversary. The hotel staff could not do enough to help and it really made the difference to our visit to Prague. The hotel is located on the river and it is possible to walk into the city centre, Charles Bridge, Castle - the trams and underground are also fine.
We had a lovely room that flooded with light in the morning and had superb views over the river.
Breakfasts were excellent. Recommend asking them if they have any special packages as they are good value. It was great to be met at the airport, booked into a fine restaurant.
Would stay there again.

Lawrence, Kansas The Riverside is certainly a beautiful hotel... I would mostly recommend it for the honeymooners; probably this is the best hotel for you.
A bit expensive for sure, but it is worth it for once.
The breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant staff are very helpful. The hotel is quiet, thus preferable for those of you who look for that. Well, it is also noteworthy that the Riverside is far away from the noisy tourist attractions. Yet, the location of the hotel is certainly no problem, everywhere in Prague is within walking distance.
You will enjoy the hotel -no doubt, yet there are other alternatives as well (less expensive, less comfortable, and probably further away from the city centre).
For you the honeymooner, go for the Riverside, rest assured...

England We stayed here for our wedding anniversary in June, and the staff were extremely helpful and professional. The hotel is slightly away from the main attractions in Prague, but it only takes 20 minutes to walk to them. The rooms are modern yet classic in design, and are clean and sleak with wonderful bathrooms. The maid service is standard with an evening turn-down service etc - all lovely touches.
Breakfast is massive - a huge selection on the buffet, and you probably won\'t need lunch!
I would definitely stay here again.
