Worcester. UK What can I say, but WOW!! what a great find this hotel was. We stayed four nights here. The location was just prefect with Charles Bridge only a short 10min walk away. If you want a little romatic hotel than this is for you. The only downside was that there was no kettle in the room, this would have been great esp after a long walk in the Prague chill to be able to make a cup of tea. The bar at the Riverside was welcoming and prices not to bad for this class of hotel. The breakfast buffet had a wide choice with both hot and cold foods to chose from. The staff could not do enough to make our stay prefect. My partner and I find a bar that served great local food and beer. You must try the Olympian its only a 5min walk from the hotel, once again the staff could not do enough for us and they also had menus in english. I would use this hotel again and have also booked another staff in one of the sister hotels in the UK.

London, England My girlfriend and I spent a romantic long weekend in Prague, and found the Riverside an excellent base. It is a small, very comfortable, quiet hotel, with smart and clean rooms, attentive English-speaking staff, excellent bathrooms, a very cute little bar and good breakfast. We had a room on the second floor which was peaceful; there was no view to speak of, but this was hardly a problem, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The entire hotel gave the impression of having been recently refurbished, and everything was executed to a high standard. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the Charles Bridge from the Riverside, and the immediate area has few obvious attractions, but it\'s by no means an inconvenient spot, and, being away from the very heart of the tourist zone, it\'s much more peaceful than more central options. There is no dining room - just a breakfast room - so you need to eat out, but this is easy, and we found that the management were able to make us a short-notice reservation at one of the best new restaurants in town. Overall, we were very happy and would recommend this hotel.

England Just returned back from Prague and could not wait to share the fantastic experience that we had staying at the Riverside Hotel. On our arrival we were greeted by a very polite receptionist..who not only gave us lots of great advice regarding how to get around Prague but as it was late she also pointed us to a great restaurant called HUSA (meaning goose )opposite the dancing Hall(Fred and Ginger). The hotel does not have its own restaurant..not that this is an issue)as you can easily walk into Prague centre...enjoy the views and river Vlatava. The staff are very efficient and breakfast was excellent(hot and cold). The room was spacious and the bathroom was very clean.
Chocolate by the bedside on yr return to the hotel and sheets turned down was a chic touch.
Tips.
Get yrself a Tram ticket...(can be used on the bus and Train as well) provides a very convienient way to get around all the sites of Prague and more.
Afternoon snack places.Cafe Louvre,Cafe Tulip
Drinkin\' holes..Anywhere...its cheap
Evening meal...

Carolan & Nolan My boyfriend and I have just returned from a lovely weekend in Prague. We booked this Hotel on the strength of the previous reviews and were not disappointed. The Hotel is not in the centre of the town however it is only a 20 minute walk from Charles Bridge. We arrived at the Hotel early and there was no problem leaving bags etc. The receptionist was very efficient however not very friendly. We stayed in room 105 it is a standard room and they are small however there is a big bathroom and long corridor into the room. For 3 days the room was perfect, the beds and pillows were also really comfortable. Breakfast was great the choice endless and the staff were excellent very attentive and friendly. Overall I would recommend the Hotel, the only negative is that there is no Restaurant in the Hotel. Taxi too and from the town centre should cost no more than €10

Lisa - USA The riverside hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff was friendly and very helpful in anyway they could be. The room that we stayed in (we choose superior) was gorgeous, one of the nicest I have ever been in. The bathroom was immaculate but, the bathtub was small. Our view was beautiful and the layout of our room (Room 205) was very special. We definitely got one of the nicest rooms in the hotel. If you can e-mail them and request this room they usually will try to honor a request. The hotel is located in what they call the Lesser Quarter Area, the very beginning of the area. There isn\'t much immediately in the surrounding area. We did go to a restaurant called Mirage that was about a five minute walk away (which the front desk recommended) which was probably the best meal we had in Prague. Now onto the one downside of this hotel, and it is the only downfall, the location is relevantly far away in walking distance from the touristy areas such as The Charles Bridge (20 minutes), Prague Castle (45 minutes), and Old Town Square (25 minutes). On one hand Prague\'s tourist areas are very busy so in ways I was glad to not be in the middle of that. On the other hand the only thing to do in Prague is WALK, so after all the walking you do all day the last thing you want to do is walk all the way back to the hotel. Taxi drivers in the center of things all wanted at least about $15 to bring us back to the hotel which was only about a 5 minute drive. To get a taxi from the hotel you usually had to tell the front desk to call you one which then you had to wait at least ten minutes for. Again, the walk isn\'t so far but when you are tired and jet-lagged it is. Also, I would totally recommend setting up the taxi pickup from the airport (which another tripadvisor review recommended). So convenient, really nice driver, and a decent fair. Overall, we really enjoyed Prague and our choice of the very beautiful Riverside hotel.
