Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

We walked in off the street and the staff was incredibly accomodating. Even showing us the 2 types of rooms they had available. When we saw the Jr Suite , we said we\'d take it. Our bags were brought up with coffee. We feel into the comfy bed and feel asleep for 4 hours - when we woke, there was a note under the door saying we could check in when we woke. This was just a quick, impromtu trip so we hadn\'t researched the area at all, but the staff was fabulous! Great suggestions.

My wife and I stayed at the Riverside June 27-30- and had a fantastic stay - in room 407 as a coincidence with the last reviewer (also a John) from the UK. The staff were attentive without being overly intrusive. The room was spacious and the amenities were all that we could have asked for. We had one mistake on the bill with room service but on checkout the front desk staff basically said \"tell us the right number\" and we were done - with their apologies for the mistake.
Couldn\'t agree more with the last reviewer on the distance of the hotel from all the goings on - my wife is about 5 months pregnant and she didn\'t mind the walk so anyone who does must be .... well, fill in the blanks. For the room, the staff and the location - all thumbs up.

We stayed at the Riverside 5 nights at the end of July. It\'s a beautiful hotel very clean and well decorated. The only problem was the construction project beside the building. The Riverside is constructing a new extension, the demolition and noisy works starts often around 6:30 even on Sunday morning. However it\'s a good reason to get up early and visit Prague longer.
