Christmas Stay At Riverside
The staff and the accommodation standards are 5*. Staff especiallly are very helpful; English speaking, American friendly. Buffet American Breakfast is a feast (recommend scrambled eggs- side order) The location is a bit outside the main drag, being across the bridge upstream of Fred&Ginger, but within walking distance of everything (10 mins walk to Charles Bridge). Hotel will organise transfers, from the airport and wherever you need.
The rooms in the hotel are very comfortable but small. If you are staying more than 2 nights we recommend a larger room than standard because there is not enough storage and space.
Fantastic Hotel. Well deserved plaudits. Blue Duck restaurant close by. What more do you want. 5* And so says Maggie, who is very fussy.

My husband and I just returned from a 6 day trip to Prague. We were a little nervous before we saw the Riverside Hotel, but all fears were gone once we arrived. Because we were celebrating my husband\'s birthday, they upgraded us to a 5th floor junior suite with a balcony. Champaign and a fruit basket were also waiting for us. The room was georgeous, sparkling clean and beautiful. The staff helped us with dinner arrangements to great restaurants, got us first row at the opera Carmen and went out of their way to be helpful. When a tour to the countryside didn\'t turn out as expected, they got us a 70% refund. We thought it was perfectly situated with a view of the river etc. We like to walk everywhere and the location of the hotel gave us an opportunity to walk off all the food we ate. It\'s about 10-15 minute walk to everywhere you want to go, Charles Bridge, Old Town etc. All in all we would highly recommend the Riverside Hotel.

Enjoyed a wonderful birthday at the Riverside Hotel
On arrival we were sat down by the ever helpful Anna and we were provided with all relevant info on the hotel. We were given guide books and a reservation was made for us at the scrumptious Blue Duckling restaurant.
We were upgraded to a deluxe room on the 5th floor and the room was spotless and the view fabulous
As a football fan my wife had made arrangements with the hotel to reserve 2 tickets for the Czech republic match. Everything went without a hitch
Breakfast was a treat as there was so much on offer
On our last night we ordered room service and we were given a complimentary half bottle of champagne. They remembered it was my birthday and this was a nice touch
The location is such that you require to walk for 10-15 minutes to the main attractions but this suited my wife and I as we tend to walk rather than use transport
All in all I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and if I return to Prague I would wish to stay at the Riverside

I have just returned from Prague after 5 nights at the Riverside and would highly recommend the hotel. We had a suite which was excellent value, booked through Tripadviser, and the hotel was exceptional. The hotel is immaculate and service is second to none. The staff are extremely helpful without being intrusive. On request they recommended a number of restaurants to us each of which was excellent. They even keep a record of the ones they recommend to you so they dont give you the same recommendation twice.
The hotel is located about twenty minutes walk outside of the main city square, but it is an enchanting walk alongside the river with fabulous views. If you want somewhere understated away from the impersonal service of the big hotels, then the riverside is a must.

Edinburgh
We stayed 4 nights in October and had a throughly enjoyable time. The staff were very pleastant and helpful and recommended good restaurants to eat in the evening. The room was clean and of a high modern standard with everything we could expect, and overlooked the river. There was a very wide choice at breakfast, all to a high standard. A little bit to walk to the sights at the very centre of Prage but nothing too extreme and there are trams and metro only a couple of blocks away. We would definitely use this hotel again.
