London, England We spent 3 nights at the hotel. The hotel was the recommendation of a friend who lives in Prague and it was excellent. It is located just near the centre, but just off the beaten track, so not noisy. We stayed in a suite, which was more like a good sized appartment with an enormous lounge looking towards the Charles Bridge, with a built in Kitchenette. The rooms were modern and nicely decorated. The bathrooms were fine, with a good sized bath. Service was great, the only sad thing is that the cute bunnies in the lobby were only there for Easter.
Highly recommended

London The Pachtuv Palace is definitely one of the great \'finds\' in Prague. Having staying in many hotels worldwide it provides excellent value for money. Located ideally for work or pleasure, it provides a wonderful surrounding of Prague without the hustle and bustle of large hotels. Though it does not have all the amenities of a 5 Star hotel (i.e. no air conditioning, and spa / sports facilities) it offers wonderful rooms, centrally located with the feel of being miles away while you\'re in the heart of Prague. The service is good, though does not yet match the world leaders (e.g. Four Seasons, etc.), but they are definitely working at it.

Renfrewshire, Scotland We have just returned from another great trip to Prague and stayed this time in the Pachtuv Palace. This beautiful hotel is on the bank of the Vltava river next to the Charles Bridge. We got a great winter deal and managed to get a lovely riverside room as well which was a nice size (with 3 large windows) and had a bathroom and separate W.C. It also had a tiny kitchenette hidden away in a wardrobe - hob, kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge/minibar and sink!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day, the bath was enormous and there were fluffy bathrobes supplied as well! The road could be a bit noisy with the windows open but the double glazing was superb and no noise could be heard with the windows shut. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it is in a great location for seeing all the sights and will definitely stay there again.

Dublin - Ireland Pachtuv has now been open for 1.5 years. From the room we were in, we thought we were the first to stay in it, as it was in excellent condition.
Pachtuv is no ordinary hotel. From the moment you walk in you are not met with a large scale reception, but instead a low key, plush entrance hall with welcoming desk. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. For example, we were offered complimentary tea and coffee when we returned to the hotel following our last day in Prague, even though we had checked out that morning.
To get to the rooms, often requires going outside into a courtyard. The old part of the Palace is full of history. Rooms are individual in nature, so this review could differ from other reviews when comparing facilities. The room we were allocated included, hall, kitchen, large living area, four poster bed and large bathroom. There was double glazed windows, which reduced the noise from outside (we were in the old \"original part\" of the hotel).
The rooms tastefully balance, old style (high ceiling, large chandiler) with new, (under floor bathroom heating, large modern sinks etc). We found the bed to be extremely comfortable.
The location of the hotel is second to none for tourists, being no more than 3 minute walk to Charles Bridge (you see the hotel from the bridge), 3 minutes to the National Theatre, and 2 minutes to the old centre and 10 minutes walk from the main shopping area.
The one negative for the hotel is its breakfast area and the breakfast. As an apartment hotel the breakfast area is small, and we found the breakfast selection disappointing.
Overall however we would be more than happy to revisit this excellent establishment and would recommend it for a hotel experience that is a little different from the ordinary upper tier hotels you could choose to stay in.

Los Angeles, CA We want to proclaim that the Pachtuv Palace in Prague was the \"grand finale\" of our trip to Europe! Located within steps of the Vlatava River, with a view of the Charles Bridge, we couldn\'t have asked for any place nearer to \"the action\".
Our room was a beautiful suite, stocked with all the amenities of a comfortable home. The view to the Prague Castle and Charles Bridge was stunning. As for the service, the staff at the Pachtuv was highly professional, courteous, friendly, and more than accommodating to our every need.
Breakfast was served in their inviting dining room, a place of gracious coziness. The buffet was ample, but we could also order special egg dishes or a variety of other foods and drinks.
The fact that we appreciate the history of Prague and its culture made the Pachtuv even more delightful, knowing that Mozart had stayed there when it was a private residence.
On our next visit to Prague,we will be looking forward to the elegance and secured privacy of the Pachtuv Palace. It is just the right size to make one feel as if they are staying in \"private quarters\" in the center of that lovely city.
