Scotland, UK My husband and I just spent our wedding night at Pachtuv Palace. We were absolutely satisfied and amazed, and highly recommend the hotel to travellers who prefer boutique luxury hotels. The hotel has been carefully renovated with a great style, preserving all the historical features. It has very spacious and original suites, with interior finishes of very high quality. A stay at this hotel is made all the more special by attentive, but personal service. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and it was magnificent. It was beautifully prepared for our arrival, rose petals everywhere, fresh gorgeous flowers, special candles, luxury soap basket, etc. Everything was top quality; there were frescos on all the walls, special lighting made it stand out even more. All the suites are equipped with self-contained kitchens; there is also free internet service in all the room and wi-fi in the lobby area. The location is superior too. Just steps from the Charles Bridge, most of the great rooms have direct view on the bridge and Prague Castle. I cannot imagine better location in Prague. Everything together, surely one of the best hotels in Prague. We are definitely returning. We can\'t speak highly enough about our experience at the Pachtuv Palace. Don\'t miss out on the experience.

Murcia, Spain Es un hotel precioso y con un servicio exquisito. La ubicación, cerquísima del puente de Carlos IV, es ideal para visitar todos los barrios de la ciudad. Una muy buena elección.

Saffron Walden, Essex We have just returned from two nights at the Pachtuv Palace having been \'bumped\' from the Iron Gate for an unspecified \'technical problem\' and don\'t think that we lost out on the swap. The Pachtuv appears to have recently been converted/refurbished and has been done to a very high standard, high quality materials and fittings have been used throughout. The staff were at all times friendly, smiling and politely efficient. The hotel is set around a central courtyard garden and has the slightly odd arrangement whereby you go out of the strair well/lift area onto a veranda and walk along to another door where you enter the lobby outside your room. Our suite had a view of the castle and the Charles bridge and although a tram route runs along the side of the river such is the quality of the soundproofing that no traffic noise could be heard at all. A mini kitchenette was hidden inside a huge cupboard to enable you to cater for yourself if required (no restaurant on site only a buffet breakfast) but although there is a filter coffee machine no filters were supplied or other tea/coffee supplies although there is a minibar, well more of a fridge really,(since the Pachtuv is advertised as an appartment hotel I assume they work along the lines of a furnished appartment doesn\'t come with \'consumables\'). About 10 minutes walk takes you to the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge is less than 3 mins and the National Theatre about 5.
All in all we were very impressed and would certainly consider returining to the Pachtuv.

San Francisco We have just returned from Prague, where we stayed at Pachtuv Palace for eight nights, one of the highlights of our trip. It is an amazing \"residence hotel\", with an attentive and friendly staff, and just a minute or two away from one end of the Charles Bridge.
Our \"room\" in every aspect was amazing-- spacious with high ceilings, beautifully and elegantly designed and furnished. Our room had a kitchenette (with pots, toaster, stove, refrigerator, sink, utensils, cups, plates, cloth napkins-- all of the highest quality) all conveniently designed and hidden into a large armoire that looked like an antique but was actually built to accomodate the kitchenette. We had a huge living room, and an equally large adjacent bedroom, with four poster bed, chaise lounge, clothes armoire, chest of drawers, and another television. The split-bathroom was also well appointed with toiletries and plush robes, designed in more of a modern style, but perfectly blended with the old world charm of the overall room and building.
Housekeeping was excellent and totally unobtrusive.
Last year we stayed in Prague at a sister hotel to the Pachtuv Palace (same ownership)-- The Riverside -- and our experience was equally satisfying. We choose the Pachtuv Palace this time based on that experience, and because we wanted a kitchenette, which we used extensively, especially for breakfast and small snacks/meals.
We highly recommend Pachtuv Palace because of its excellent facilities, professional staff, and central location. If possible, ask for a tour of the building where you will see some amazing architecture, and even a room where Mozart composed. Also, note, that although the whole building is called Pachtuv Palace, the original \"Pachtuv Palace\" is just part of the building \"complex\". When making a reservation you may want to request that you be located in that part of the building if history matters to you, although I think you get the best views from the other part of the building.
A great, great place to stay while visiting a truly amazing city.
