Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

We stayed at Pachtuv for three nights, followed by a short break to Cesky Krumlov, and returned on our final night before leaving. The hotel is in a perfect location with easy walks to Old Town, the Jewish Quarter, and 2 minutes to Charles Bridge. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke perfect English - although you won\'t find the \"bubbly\" warm receptions you might enjoy in five stars in the US as after all this is a former eastern block county. On short notice the staff provided us with a driver for an out of town visit, and recommended some of the best dining in the city (ask for reservations to Suata Klara - you will need a driver to get there as it\'s near the zoo - or to Zatisi which is around the corner). We were on the second floor and air conditioners and fans were available.

Our visit was a wonderful experience that we would recommend to anyone visiting Prague. Also, worthy to consider should you be planning a business meeting for your executives in Prague.

El personal muy amable nos facilitó información muy util sobre restaurantes y posibles excursiones. la habitación amplia, muy bien decorada y muy tranquila. Sin duda un hotel a recomendar.

My husband and I spent four nights at Pachtuv Palace while celebrating our wedding anniversary in Prague and had an excellent stay. We stayed in a spacious junior suite, which had a huge, comfortable bed, spotless and luxurious bathroom, and well-stocked kitchenette. Every staff member with whom we interacted was friendly and polite. We were thrilled to see that on our first night at the hotel, the management had left a bottle of Bohemian champagne on ice for us -- it\'s the little touches like this that make Pachtuv Palace truly special. The location is great, just steps away from Charles Bridge and a short walk to the Old Town. My only (minor) complaints are the fact that the room was rather warm for my liking at night, but if we opened the windows we were plagued with the noise of rowdy people on the street below well into the early morning. Also, TV channel selection is very limited and the hotel\'s \"DVD library\" is kind of a joke. Otherwise, our stay could not have been better and we will be sure to return if we\'re ever in Prague again.
