Residence Masna (studio for 2 guests/max4.)

Manhattan, NY

We recently stayed in unit 103 for 5 nights. This is the very first unit on the left by the main entrance and the windows are facing the street so we could hear people coming in/out as well as cars driving by. Not to mention that there is a night club a few doors down the block so the noise level was quite bad on some nights.

We specificly asked about the availability of a dryer/washer in the unit and the answer was yes. Unfortunately, it wasn\'t the case when we get there. The phone in the unit was broken, which caused some troubles for having wake up calls. We had to use the alarm on our cell phone eventually. There are only 3 English news channels on TV but you need to find them on your own by flipping through 100+ channels. ( There was no channel listing information available at the reception) The refrigerator was leaking but it was fixed after we reported it to the office.

All and all, for the money\'s worth and the location, it is not a bad choice while visiting Prague.

Limerick, Ireland

Residence Masna was just perfect. we stayed in room 603 in the penthouse studio apartment, lovely view from the window of roof tops of other buildings! Mini Market across the road, 2 bakery shops at the corner. We had our own heating boiler, washing maching, fridge & hob. Very quiet apartment, didnt hear any noise from the neighbours or from the street. The TV was the only problem, there are aver 1000 channels but only about 3 in english, those 3 include CNN, BBC world & music channel!! Bring DVD\'s to watch!

Old town square (which u could see from our window) was just around the corner, charles bridge was 5-10 min walk along the cobble streets with shops along the way. Prague castle was in walking distance also. Lots of restaurants & pubs just around the corner. The christmas markets really made my trip, they were fab! they really got me into the christmas spirit. lights and christmas trees on every corner were brilliant.

Staff in Masna were very friendly, a driver was waiting to pick us up at the airport on arrival for free, we had to pay for the return transfer but it was only about 5euros each.

Overall my stay in Residence Masna was brilliant, i would def stay there again. Would love to return to Prague again...maybe in the summer time, as it was freezing!!

Atlanta, Georgia

We just came back from the beautiful city of Prague. We spent 2/7/08-2/11/08 at Residence Masna. Let me start by saying the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Any question we had...they went out of their way to answer. We arrived in Prague extremely early and we had no problem with them allowing us to check-in early. We opted to stay in the studio penthouse(Room 603) because of the view and review of another peson on this site. Absoulutely Perfect! My only caution.......If you are taller than 3 feet, be careful getting out of the bed. The bed is in a loft area and the ceiling is pretty low. This is not complaint at all. After waking up and hitting my head a couple of times....I learned my lesson.
The Residence is perfectly located. We walked everywhere.....Charles Bridge, Old Town Square,Jewish Quater,Wenceslas Square,Praque Castle....just to name a few. There are Plenty of cafe\'s and resturants in walking distance. There is also a big department store(Kotva) and supermarket(great for buying groceries....I believe its called Alberto) only about 5 mins walk. After looking on the internet(free Wi-fi) and checking this site....i noticed the Chez Marcel was rated the highest thing to do in Prague. At first I didn\'t understand why a restuaruant would be rated amongst landmarks and other things. Once we stepped in the Restuaraunt I understood. The food was magnificent! And to top it all off....It was only about a block or 2 from the residence.
Okay...If you have an ounce of street sense...you will not be pickpocketed! I read all these reviews about being pickpocketed and almost let that change my perspective of this city before ever stepping foot here. Im glad I didnt\'t and you have to understand all reviews are subjective!
Enjoy Prague! We enjoyed ourselves fully. This has to easily be the most beautiful City I have been to!

Bristol

We stayed in apartment 102, which had all the facilities we required, was fully serviced every day, and very quiet as it was at the rear of the building (so don\'t expect a view as it\'s an enclosed, functional courtyard). It was our second vist to Prague this year, so we knew the area we wished to stay in. We couldn\'t have wished for anything more from a centrally located apartment. It is a city for walking, and from this location we did not use public transport once during our stay.

LEICESTERSHIRE

I found a reference to these apartments on this site. We wanted somewhere quiet but central and these apartments fitted the bill. They lived up to the reviews by other travellers and we would have no hesitation in recommending them. The apartments are extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. The reception is open 24 hours and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartments are serviced daily so apart from not being given breakfast the facilities are just as good as a quality hotel. The bed was comfortable as was the settee and armchair in the lounge. The kitchen is well equipped enough if you wanted to cook (on our short stay we ate out) but it was nice to be able to make tea and coffee and have a fridge to keep the milk in. Satellite TV, DVD and radio are also installed. The street is a few minutes walk from Old Town Square and all the other areas of interest are within easy walking distance, but the apartments are away from the noise of the busy main streets. Across the street and just around the corner are some excellent bakers and cafes so you don\'t have far to go for breakfast! They offer excellent value for money and if there were more than two of you would be cheaper than a hotel. I wouldn\'t think twice about booking here again. Highly recommended.
